A guide to getting started as an LA Administrator

Key tasks when setting up Aspire

As an LA administrator, you have the responsibility for setting up user accounts for members of staff in your LA and school administrator accounts to provide schools with access to Aspire.

Sign up to set your password and security answers

After receiving your sign-up email, you will be contacted by a member of the FFT Customer Team with the activation code required to complete the sign-up process. You will need to choose a secure password and choose answers to three different security questions. Make the answers easy to remember as you will need to give characters from these answers if you ever forget your password and use the forgotten password functionality.

Create a second Administrator

Create at least one other Aspire administrator account for a colleague at your LA. This will help you support LA users and schools across your authority.

Create other user accounts

All colleagues at your LA who require access to LA level FFT benchmark and Self-Evaluation data can be set up with an individual user account. New users will go through the same sign-up process that you’ve been through. There is no limit to the number of user accounts you can create.  We actively encourage all users to be set up with accounts.

Under no circumstances should accounts be shared across users.
